This Privacy Policy explains how Atso Tek (ATSO TEK Machine Industry & Trade Ltd. Co.) handles personal data submitted through this website, by email, by phone, or via WhatsApp. It applies whether you are a prospective customer, an existing customer, a supplier, or a visitor.

We are the data controller for the personal data described below. Our registered office is in Şişli, Istanbul, Türkiye.

Data you give us directly

• Name, company name and job title.
• Work email and phone number.
• Country, port of destination and shipping requirements.
• Product, grade and tonnage requested.
• Any free-text message you send via the quote form, email, WhatsApp or phone.

Data we collect automatically

• Standard server log data: IP address, browser, operating system, referring URL, and time of visit.
• Anonymous analytics about how pages are used (sessions, page views, device class).
• Cookies and similar technologies. See our Cookie Policy for details.

• To answer your quote request, technical question or other inquiry.
• To prepare a pro forma invoice, sample shipment, Certificate of Analysis or commercial offer.
• To execute and document an export shipment under FOB, CIF, CFR or DAP terms.
• To comply with Turkish trade, tax and customs obligations.
• To improve the website, our products and our customer experience.
• To send you transactional updates about an order or sample you have requested. We do not send marketing email without an opt-in.

We process your personal data on one or more of the following legal bases:

• Steps taken at your request to enter into a contract (preparing a quote, sending a sample, drafting a sales contract).
• Performance of a contract you have entered into with us.
• Compliance with a legal obligation (export documentation, tax records, customs filings).
• Our legitimate interests in operating, securing and improving our business. Balanced against your rights.
• Your explicit consent, where required (for example, optional marketing emails).

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with parties that need it to perform a service you have requested, or where required by law.

• Banks and confirming banks involved in L/C, T/T or other payment instruments.
• Freight forwarders, carriers, customs brokers and warehouse operators executing your shipment.
• Auditors, accountants, lawyers and tax authorities as required.
• Hosting, email and analytics service providers under written data processing terms.
• Government and regulatory bodies where we are legally obligated to disclose.

We keep personal data only for as long as we need it for the purposes described above and for as long as Turkish law requires us to keep export, tax and accounting records.

• Quote correspondence that does not lead to a contract: typically retained for up to 24 months for follow-up.
• Customer records (orders, invoices, shipping documents): retained for the period required by Turkish commercial and tax law.
• Server logs and analytics: rolling retention windows aligned with operational need.

We apply organizational and technical measures appropriate to the data we process. These include access controls on internal systems, HTTPS for all web traffic, encrypted storage for sensitive records, and a need-to-know rule for our staff. No system is perfectly secure, but we work hard to keep yours private.

Atso Tek is based in Türkiye. To deliver an export shipment we may transfer personal data to recipients in your country (your forwarder, your bank, your customs broker). Where data is transferred outside Türkiye, we do so only as needed to perform the service you have requested.

Subject to applicable law, you have the following rights with respect to your personal data:

• Right of access. Get a copy of the data we hold about you.
• Right to rectification. Correct data that is wrong.
• Right to erasure. Ask us to delete data, where we are not legally required to keep it.
• Right to restrict or object to processing. Limit how we use your data.
• Right to data portability. Receive your data in a structured, commonly used format.
• Right to withdraw consent at any time, where processing is based on consent.
